But that’s not all! We’ve also worked with BNZ to enable their merchants to quickly and securely connect to our Blink PayNow service to receive payments directly from their customers’ personal bank accounts.
We have a commercial agreement with Westpac New Zealand which enables us to access their Direct from Account (DFA) API, and enables those personal customers banked by Westpac New Zealand to pay via Blink PayNow, giving them a secure and instantaneous way to make bank payments directly from their bank account to a merchant’s account. A key feature of the DFA API is that it pulls back the customer’s account list and balances into the Blink PayNow payment gateway, enabling users to see their balances before committing to a payment.
